How our business is born
The company Casa Folino, today specialized in the sale of Calabrian doc products, was born in the second post-war period when two young brothers, Antonio and Guido, faced with an increasing demand for food goods from the inhabitants of Lamezia Terme, decided to sell the products of the land they cultivated.
Soon their success in the food industry allowed the two brothers to leave and seek fortune in the United States of America.
They landed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and there they began selling typical Calabrian food. After a few years, Antonio returned to his land where he started a small farm, the future Casa Folino, in which excellent quality raw materials were processed and delicious typical Calabrian recipes of high quality were made.
It was Antonio, a Folino of the third generation, who expanded the sample of products and sold them, through an online portal, throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The Casa Folino company is consolidated by the union of three different generations; born from a small regional reality expands, going around the world, but without ever neglecting respect for tradition and enhancement of the raw material.
Here Casa Folino brings culinary excellence of Calabria to our tables, from Nduja di Spilinga to Calabrian Caciocavallo.
The selection processes always include strict admission rules that are included in periodic visits to production plants and physico/chemical analysis to always give the highest quality.
